3. How Records Are Stored
PranaCare Ltd uses secure, encrypted systems to store records, including:

4. How Long Records Are Kept
4.1 Counselling Records
Counselling records are retained for a minimum of 10 years after the last session, or longer if required by Alberta regulations.

Coaching records are retained for 5 years unless otherwise requested or required.
4.3 Organizational Consulting Records
Organizational records are retained for 7 years, unless the contract specifies otherwise.

Records for minors are retained for 10 years past the age of majority (age 18 in Alberta).
5. Access to Records
5.1 Client Access
You may request access to your counselling or coaching records at any time.Requests must be made in writing.We will respond within 30 days, as required by PIPA.
5.2 Organizational Access
Organizations may access consulting records according to the terms of their contract.Individual employees do not have access to organizational consulting records unless explicitly stated.

7.1 Email & Text
Emails and texts related to scheduling or logistics may be retained as part of your file.Therapeutic or coaching content is not conducted through email or text.

Messages sent through social media are not considered secure and are not retained as part of your record.
