1. Purpose of This Page

This page outlines the rights you hold as a client of PranaCare Ltd, and the responsibilities that support a safe, ethical, and effective counselling, coaching, or consulting relationship. It reflects Alberta’s professional standards, Canadian privacy law, and the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Code of Ethics.
By engaging with PranaCare Ltd, you acknowledge and agree to the rights and responsibilities described below.

2. Your Rights as a Client

Right to Respect and Dignity

You have the right to be treated with care, respect, cultural intelligence, and non‑judgmental support at all times.

Right to Informed Consent

You have the right to understand the nature of services, including counselling, coaching, mediation‑informed support, and organizational consulting. See the Informed Consent for Counselling.

Right to Confidentiality

Your information is protected within the limits of confidentiality required by Alberta law. See the Confidentiality & Limits Page.

Right to Ask Questions

You may ask questions at any time about your care, the process, or the approach being used.

Right to Autonomy

You may make decisions about your participation, goals, and direction of work. You may decline any intervention or approach.

Right to Withdraw Consent

You may end counselling, coaching, or consulting at any time.

Right to Access Your Records

You may request access to your records, corrections, or transfers. See the Record‑Keeping Policy.

Right to Safe Boundaries

You have the right to clear professional boundaries, including communication limits, session structure, and crisis protocols.

Right to Culturally Intelligent Care

Your identity, background, values, and lived experiences will be respected and integrated into the work.

Right to Referrals

If your needs fall outside the scope of PranaCare services, you have the right to receive appropriate referrals.

3. Your Responsibilities as a Client

Responsibility to Attend Sessions

Arrive on time and be present for scheduled sessions. Follow the cancellation policy outlined in the Payment & Refund Policy.

Responsibility to Communicate Honestly

Share openly about your goals, concerns, and experiences so the work can be effective.

Responsibility to Engage Actively

Participate in the process, reflect between sessions, and practice agreed‑upon strategies.

Responsibility to Respect Boundaries

Use communication channels appropriately. See the Social Media & Communication Policy.

Responsibility to Seek Crisis Support When Needed

PranaCare does not provide emergency or crisis services. If you are in crisis, contact emergency services immediately.

Responsibility to Pay Fees Promptly

Follow the payment terms and timelines outlined in the Payment & Refund Policy.

Responsibility to Share Relevant Information

Inform your practitioner of changes in your wellbeing, safety, or circumstances that may affect the work.

Responsibility to Maintain Personal Safety

Follow safety recommendations and communicate if you feel unsafe or overwhelmed.

Responsibility to Use Materials Ethically

Respect intellectual property and usage rights. See the Intellectual Property Notice.

4. Shared Responsibilities

The client and practitioner share responsibility for:
  • Maintaining a respectful, collaborative relationship
  • Upholding clear boundaries
  • Ensuring communication remains professional
  • Working toward agreed‑upon goals
  • Addressing concerns promptly and respectfully

I CONSENT TO RECEIVE COACHING SERVICES  For myself and/or my dependent(s)
I/We have read and understood the PranaCare Ltd Coaching Agreement, including the nature of coaching, the limits of confidentiality, the distinction between coaching and counselling, and the ethical commitments aligned with the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
I/We have had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss any concerns with Nimir Raval, ACC‑Certified Coach, and understand that coaching is a voluntary, collaborative process focused on growth, clarity, and development.
I/We understand that coaching is not therapy, not counselling, not crisis support, and not a substitute for medical, legal, or financial advice.
I acknowledge that all decisions made during or after coaching sessions are my own responsibility, and PranaCare Ltd is not liable for personal, relational, professional, or organizational outcomes resulting from coaching conversations.
I/We understand that I/we may withdraw consent at any time, discontinue coaching at any time, and request clarification about the coaching process whenever needed.
By signing or submitting this form, I/we voluntarily consent to participate in coaching services provided by PranaCare Ltd.
